Engagement Session with Mary & Jim

I had a great engagement session at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley on Sunday with Mary and Jim. They are so adorable together and were so fun to work with, they were even excited about climbing in a tree!

Wedding at Mahan's Lakeview

Photographed a wedding tonight with SnapShots Unlimited. The venue, Mahan's Lakeview in Wolcott Connecticut, was wonderful. They have a beautiful chapel filled with light, separate reception hall and gorgeous settings for taking photographs. Images coming soon!

Vultures on the Roof

I'm not bird savvy but I believe these menacing looking birds are turkey vultures. They were owning the sky here and taking in some sun on the roof next door for a while today, so I nabbed some photos before they flew off.

(I just realized the title of this post sounds like a metaphor or start of an interesting poem but it couldn't be more literal, coming up with great titles for posts is not a strong suite of mine. But there's no question about what you're about to read or see!)

I'm no fan of rainy, grey days but what else can we expect in April?

What I do love is, at the end of one of these days, the sun shining some gold in contrast to all that angry grey. It only lasted a few minutes but I snapped a quick shot from the window to share.
