rainy day bird

It's a grey, rainy kind of day. I wanted to play with my newest lens a bit though, so I took a few shots from the safety of the porch. I caught some photos of a cool little bird with bright yellow eyes. Anyone know what kind of bird he is?

Congratulations to Celia and Dan! I photographed their wedding while working with Insight Photography at the end of May. They are a great couple, Celia looked gorgeous, the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so much fun, everything a wedding should be!

storm watch

I was shocked to hear that tornados touched down in Springfield. My thoughts are with everyone who was effected by the storm and I hope that property damage, the trees and roofs, is the worst of it. Stay safe.

The seems to have passed by where I am now,  the sky here turned an ominous yellow followed by the blue sky braking through at sunset. I took a couple photos of it from my windows.
