I took a trip back to RIT for the weekend to teach a two day workshop on Photoshop technique to the employees of ETC Photographic Studio. It was great to see everyone again and I even learned a couple new tricks in the process of teaching the techniques I know!

Family Portraits
I had a lot of fun today photographing this family in their home. We did a variety of photos, from the more conventional family portrait to some casual shots like the mother daughter ones below.

Inspiration/Friends in the Business
Here are a handful of the people I know or have worked with in photography. I went to college, took classes and worked with these photographers and it has undoubtedly shaped how I see and what I do. This definitely isn't everyone that I've encountered but it's a few who are also in the NYC area now.

Enough to be Proud
I wasn't able to raise enough money to walk in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer this weekend, but I did raise around $1000 and I can be proud of that. I hope the money is able to help the organization and the people it effects, and that I was able to raise a little more awareness for the cause. Thank you all so much for your support, it means so much to me!

Photographed the event "Fighting Leukemia With Fashion" hosted by Society Ties at Rio's Churrascaria (360 Park Avenue South) to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event included a City Model & Talent runway fashion show, raffle and silent auction as well as a bone marrow drive. There was a terrific turnout and you could easily see how much everyone enjoyed the event.

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer
Help Fight Breast Cancer
I’ve decided to participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, and
I really need your help.
The walk will take place October 10th and 11th of this year and I’m hoping to walk the maximum distance of 39.3 miles. In order to walk I need to raise a minimum of $1,800 for this cause, but I’m hoping I’m able to raise even more. The money raised is managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation, a public charity with a mission to fund access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. If you are able to, any donation you can give is so appreciated. To donate you can go here: My Personal Page or you can contact me about where to send a check.
Another way you can help is to forward this link along to anyone else you may know, businesses, coworkers, friends and family.
Thank you so much for your support! This mean a lot to me and every little bit can change lives.
